I reread description and yes it did note no battery. Then the question is what battery? That little detail was omitted. If not including a battery for the bose remote at least state which battery is appropriate. I used a 2032 but it seemed very tight. I very quick test indicated it turns the soundbar on and off and volume up and down, and into blue tooth mode.

I even learned from the seller how to use a smartphone camera to "see" the Infrared that the remote was emitting. I didn't know the phone could do that. The remote was emitting IR, but would not operate the air conditioner. The seller was very accommodating and refunded the purchase price and the shipping. It was nice to see a seller who genuinely seemed to care. would buy again
