This case is bombproof. Unfortunately this means I have to use a tool of some sort to pry open the latches due to my arthritic hands, and bang them shut. Also it's built in such a way that it won't stand up on its bottom like a suitcase, which is unfortunate. Further, I am amazed that so many of my best folding knives don't fit due to the 5" depth. Sad to say I'm not going to buy any more of these. Protection = 10, but accessibility= 3.
