This piece although larger and faster than generally reportedly supported by my aspire one 722, the computer recognizes it, the Linux 64 bit operating recognizes it. Linux 32 bit os has not commented on the ram, i suppose it only recognizes & uses the 4 gigs the computer is spec'd for. But, so far so good. My web browser no longer seems to lock up my computer the way it did before.
