- l***i (1794)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThis is the #1 quality option to refurbish your MB key fob case shell, and well worth the slightly higher price because in this case you get what you pay for (pun intended). So forget about any cheaper similar looking cases out there that will just pop open when you try to turn the ignition key to start the car (been there done that), and sometimes even the push buttons will not always work. Get this shell/case FIRST.

If your original key only has two buttons (lock + unlock) this will still work. Worked for a 2004 SLK32 AMG. Note: I had an issue with the key blade staying closed, but was able to remedy this by removing the pin and replacing only the blade portion of the old key.

The only problem with it is that it doesn't stay together once assembled. I contacted the seller and they sent another with no hassle. Seller said that it states in the auction that shell may need to be glued together. I looked all thru the auction and nowhere does it mention gluing the shell together. Either way, a few property placed dabs of super glue and you've got a great looking key remote. Great no hassle seller AA++
