    The Battery Wraps arrived on time. A couple of the wraps split as I heated them with an electric heat shrink air heater. They split where the fold was. Clearly a manufacturing flaw.

    Most likely cause was the air from the heat gun was too hot and the wraps melted. The fold is the most exposed part of the wrap when being shrunk, if the heat gun air temperature is too high this can happen.
