- e***l (669)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseWell made item, but you would figure if someone was going to make a replacement part they would try and improve a defective design a bit. There is a channel cut for the wire to stay inside the piece for protection, however, when the wire needs to go under the silver connector piece the channel stops. The wire is forced to come out and be exposed. Stupid design! I cut the channel myself in 1 minute. It works much better. Be advised that replacing this part is nerve-racking, taking 2 people.

The parts are 3D printed from seemingly strong material and should last as long as the life of the headset. Saved me from dropping big coin on new headphones! Parts aren’t as sleek and curvy but they should be stronger by design. The only minor drawback I experienced is the earcups do not swivel as easily now, but that may get better with use.
