    It's absolutely beautiful, the wood is the best quality, and it barely needs any sanding before painting and decorating it! It's a great value; it has absolutely everything you need to assemble a beautiful sanshin and I am really enjoying the process! I would suggest this seller to anyone who loves Japanese things and can't find them in the US - they will find what you need even if it isn't listed!

    I had bought a sanshin before (not from this seller) and was super disappointed that it was smaller than normal (I think it was meant to be a toy.) But this one is perfect! It sounds beautiful! And I plan to have my friend wood burn it once I learn a song!
