Olympus offers a wide variety of cameras. The Olympus SP-350 8.0 MP digital camera is part of the Olympus SP series. This digital camera has an 8-megapixel charge coupled device, which is instrumental in maintaining image quality and exposure, even when you expand the image size. With 30 preset shooting modes, it’s easy to get familiar with this camera. After reviewing the manual, you’ll be choosing and setting modes quickly to take advantage of every shooting situation. The manual also helps you explore a wealth of customizable modes and flash settings to enable you to take exactly the pictures you want. The expansive features of the Olympus SP-350 will impress you with their thoroughness. The large 2.5-inch LCD screen delivers a crystal-clear display, enabling effective navigation through the various modes and menus available on the camera. Framing your range and shots on the LCD screen is also easy to do, especially when you don’t use the viewfinder. Use the mode dial to choose from seven different shooting modes, including ISO, zoom and flash. The LCD screen displays these settings. The auto mode is ideal when you want to use full automatic flash settings for your pictures. The Olympus SP-350 will also set the optimum aperture value and shutter speed for you, or you can set the aperture and shutter speed manually. You can even set a unique shooting range and record this on the camera as “my mode” settings. Another mode function presents 24 different shooting conditions from which you can choose. A separate playback mode is also in place, which allows you to see both still photos and video with sound on the LCD screen. Additional features of the Olympus SP-350 include buttons for setting the built-in flash and exposure, zooming in or out from a subject, viewing the last picture taken, erasing pictures and printing pictures. Auto optical and digital zoom modes help ensure crisp photos. Optical zoom enlarges the image after changing the lens magnification. Optical zoom and digital zoom can also work together for optimal magnification. Shortcut menu buttons are also present, and you can program these buttons to fit your unique camera needs. You can use menu buttons to set a manual ISO mode as well. The higher the ISO setting, the better the digital camera will shoot in low-light conditions. If you prefer, you can have the camera auto adjust itself to the best ISO setting. If your ISO setting is off, your pictures may appear grainy. The manual helps teach you about ISO modes, exposure and exposure compensation. The Olympus SP-350 will assist with focus. Simply position the Olympus SP-350 camera lens with your target in range and press the shutter button down halfway. This will help recompose the shot with exposure compensation, and the camera lens will lock the focus into place. Press the shutter button fully to take the picture with or without flash. Use the record mode to capture videos with audio in motion-JPEG format. The Olympus SP Series SP-350 has an internal memory, which will record pictures and video. Cameras are also equipped for an optional picture card for extra storage. Digital cameras ensure that you won’t miss another memorable moment.
