Lady of the Mountain may be Lei'ohu's best-selling CD release, coming from the time of her great collaboration with kupuna (Hawaiian elder) Mahilani Poepoe. Songs would come to Lei'ohu almost daily, arising spontaneously through the soles of her bare feet or whispered on the wind and rain. Aunty Mahi would help her interpret the musical messages and connect them to people and places of her ancestral memory.
