The recipient was thoroughly delighted, so the value was excellent. She had seen a smaller display of perhaps a dozen of these stamps in an exhibit at the CDC. Because she is young, the year 1945 was very impressive to her. So I immediately checked eBay, where I found this whole sheet of mint condition stamps.
