Minor modifications needed to hook up the controls but I expected that since the dead GX35 was a 15 yr old model. Filled the oil, put gas in it, set the choke, primed it and pulled the starting handle a few times and she fired up and is running like new. Less than half the cost of a genuine Honda replacement here in the US, and it seems to be an exact replica or maybe even genuine. Good quality that I can see.
