It is a specialized screw, not something I can get at a hardware store. The battery is old - will not take a full charge. This vacuum was filthy. It took me over 5 minutes just to remove the hair wound in the beater bar. Then the body of the vacuum was covered with adhesive - probably from duct tape. This vacuum has seem hard use, not what it was designed for. YUK!
