It's absolutely brand new, gorgeous, and I'll treasure it. I have to add though that $7.85 to ship a silk scarf that weighs next to nothing was too much, and while we understand that postage rates have increased it can't have cost eight bucks to ship it. I'll hesitate buying again if that is your shipping rate for one scarf that weighs no more than a letter.
