Even a soft mailer would have been better. Fortunately, no contents were missing nor damaged. Very displeased to see Hayward made this in China. My last Hayward Vac Head, made in USA, lasted over 25-years. Debris can't get past brushes unless you raise head off bottom. Sticks to surface when suction high. Then, won't pull-in debris when you decrease vacuum. I don't need all the weights.
