The only thing that I could fault the seller on would be the fact that the Gamepad still had user account that were locked to Nintendo accounts with a parental lock. If you google how to factory reset with an unknown parental lock there are a few YouTube videos to bypass and reset the console using a website. other than that connected to the wii-u and internet straight away.
