This was a waste of money. I thought made in Japan and 3 times the cost of the cheep one from China must be better and of sound optical quality, not so, this is not made in Japan and it is not better quality, it is far worse, it is made in China and a jeep copy of the much better one made in China at a third of the cost. Fool me once, shame on you, never again. The cheep one (Keens) although not great is far better quality, I bought them all to read small text on TV like the TV guide.
