It is made of jacquard loomed woven wool done in vibrant vivid colors of predominantly red, orange, gold, green, turquoise blue, black and white. These paisley shawls were made in Kashmir and Europe in Scotland at Paisley itself. This stunning shawl has wonderful workmanship and detail, a small black wool decorative star shaped center, a multicolored fringe border trim along the top and bottom, with green selvage sides edging. This outstanding oversized large banquet size shawl tablecover measures 122 inches long and 62 inches wide. It is in good as-is condition, with several small frayed holes, mended repairs near the center star and scattered in areas (see close-ups). Great for upcycling. This is truly a wonderful large banquet size example of paisley textile art.”
