There are a few scratches but nothing more than what the item description already warned. Some parts of the plates don't fit together completely (e.g., small gaps) but I think it's totally within expectation for a modded DS Lite. If I have to make one complaint it would be that the Start/Select buttons are buried too deep inside the faceplate so it can be hard to press, but upon more usage you get used to it. Overall great experience.
