During the trip, he learns the hard way that when left alone, the goat will eat the cabbage, and the wolf will eat the goat. On top of this, the boat that he has to row to cross the moat can carry only himself and a single load. How will the farmer cross the moat, leaving the goat and the cabbage intact?
