Never had this experience. I paid $17.00 for shoes and $19.04 for shipping (plus $1.84 required tax) for a total of $37.88.
I had to return them, but my tax calculation changed in the request to $1.77 so my refund request was $18.77 and I was charged $17.26 for the shipping label, so I got $1.51 back. And paid $36.30 IN SHIPPING. DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MUCH! Learned a painful lesson. Pay attention to shipping costs. They vary greatly with sellers!!!
