They were definitely manufactured better than the bilstein shocks I bought for the rear of the vehicle that probably had a newer vin date. I recieved them on time. There was an issue with the packaging, the box was not properly taped and the end had opened up, the end of the shock box was also open and the mounting hardware was close to falling out of the box.
