The material is divided into 33 chapters, 32 of them covering all the most important themes by means of relevant examples accompanied by tons of examples, written in Lakdawala's trademark humoristic style which I have always greatly enjoyed as it makes the reading a lot easier and more fun.So, does a study of tactics work? In my opinion the unequivocal answer is yes.This book will definitely help lift your tactical acumen and speed when playing and solving.

This book on tactical play is designed to aid practical play by focusing on typical combinational themes that crop up consistently in chess., It is hard to understate the importance of tactic ability to overall chess proficiency. Of course other elements such as a knowledge of opening play and an understanding of strategy are also important.
