I can honestly say that neither of the 2 Monroe style studs I ordered are stainless steel as they are advertised to be because they turned a pale green under the cz gemstone and turned the outside of my piercing the same color of green only after a day of wear. Stainless steel doesn't turn green the second it comes into contact with sweat or any other moisture like this and I've never in 20yrs of having these piercings had such an issue with any of the many stainless steel studs used.����������
