I was having problems with the trigger on my V7, where I needed to apply more pressure to the left side of the trigger otherwise it starts and stops. With this Dyson trigger lock it applies pressure just right and the vacuum remains on. Easy to install and use. I would buy a second one for my V8. Very well made.
