I tested it (again see photos) it works fine. I had to use a UK adapter to test it as if it was faulty I could then have returned it, once I'd tested it I cut off the two pin plug and replaced it with a UK plug. Interesting to note was that the wiring of the PSU was the old sensible UK colours before they changed to the brown/ blue rubbish. So if you do the same it is RED for LIVE and BLACK for NEUTRAL
