    This book was at a very good price and looked like it had never been opened. I had a lengthy conversation with my wife about whether such a pristine looking thing should be defiled by opening it and cracking the spine. She thinks I am a simpleton but I'm not so sure. We have compromised by agreeing to keep it on the table for six months to just gaze at it in it's perfection before opening it and reading it.
