It indeed was used, it had worn corners on the front cover, had imprints on both front and back (looked like someone had laid down a piece of paper, then written on it and that made an impression) and the back cover had a place that looked like it got caught in something and messed it up. Otherwise, for the cost of the item and free shipping, it will do.
