Seller Notes: “A nice book-club copy of this perennially popular title, published 1973 (originally in 1972). ... “A nice book-club copy of this perennially popular title, published 1973 (originally in 1972). Square and tightly bound with excellent covers and clean pages. The outside edges have a fair amount of age-spotting (foxing) but there is none inside the book. There is a neat previous owner's name/address on the blank front flyleaf. The dust-jacket is clean, bright and complete. It has a tiny, closed, tear to the bottom front that I have now (post photography) internally reinforced with archival tape. The book smells a little 'ye olde bookshop' but this will pass. My guess is it has only been read once, then put away. A nice 'reading copy' of a title I enjoyed when it was first published, at which time the voyage was still doable. Don't try it now!
