A great piece of history! Holding a coin that was in Commodore Turner’s collection 200 years ago reminds me that I’m just a temporary custodian of my collection and makes me wonder who will be holding my coins two hundred years from now. The Roman coin and its accompanying 200-yr-old hand written ID envelope are exactly as described and pictured. It was shipped quickly and securely packaged, and Rob reached out to let me know when he expected to put it in the mail. A great experience all around!

Nice coin with a great provenance, including collector tag nearly 200 years old! Well worth the cost. Great communication, fast secure shipping. A pleasurable transaction. Highly recommended.

The packing job was not the best, particularly for an item where the paperwork is so important. Putting a “fragile” sticker on a package is no substitute for a good packing job. The envelope arrived torn. The coin and ticket were packed in taped cardboard, in a taped envelope. The tight tape damaged the antique ticket justifying the price for what otherwise should be at most a $40 coin. More careful packing in a padded envelope would have protected the ticket better.

The 200 yr old ticket included was already torn as you can see in the photo. The partial tickets were a bonus to any of the coins sold. No way more damage was incurred by mailing . The cardboard was thick. You are the first person to complain in 500 coins sold. Envelope torn is hard to believe. None the less the price was based on the coin and not the torn paper ticket. You should look again at the ticket photo. Yes, a free bonus. Learn to ask questions before bidding as the description state
