After testing, I noticed a mechanical noise—likely from the VR (Vibration Reduction) system—which also caused slight image shake when taking photos but the lens is still functional and takes nice pictures. That said, the seller was very cooperative and responsive throughout and offered a partial refund, which I accepted. Overall, a trustworthy seller who takes customer concerns seriously.
