The expensive item had obvious defects, which the seller hid by not indicating four defects (!) in the product description. The seller repeatedly made excuses for the ancient origin of the item, as if in the past very expensive and 1st class (!st Wahl) Meissen items were produced with defects. The seller also did not want to resolve the issue of compensation by refunding part of the funds spent (I have also paid a huge amount of money for VAT, customs and delivery).

This piece is a "Meissen Second" and the areas of concern are original firing cracks when this piece was created (which is why it was deemed a second by Meissen). The areas of concern were pictured, the areas of restoration were disclosed, the hash mark through the Meissen crossed swords was pictured, and the buyer threatened to leave this negative feedback if I didn't pay him for his VAT, customs, and shipping charges. Ebay International shipping dealt with buyer but he wants more - beware!!!
