Though the game features the same basic isometric third-person perspective as its acclaimed predecessors on the PC, its gameplay is designed to offer a steady flow of "hack and slash" dungeon-crawling action. While a good story is important to any worthwhile role-playing adventure, the player may become more immediately involved with the particulars of the single Player Character in BG: Dark Alliance, as the solitary plotline removes some of the (otherwise welcome) distractions of group interaction and party management. An all-new game engine designed specifically for this title makes use of the GameCube's combination of higher-end specifications, offering detailed textures and impressive dynamic lighting effects.

      received exactly what I paid for and a day earlier than expected. the bubble envelope it was in was just thick enough to stop a large rip in the package (USPS seems really bad with video games getting caught in their conveyor belts). it came out unscathed and in very good condition, tested and working. quite happy overall!
