The design relies on saw construction/operation to be within tolerances that it will never be, in a mass produced Harbor Freight saw. I ruined nearly a dozen pieces of brass trying to get to to cut the brass long enough and square enough. It doesn't. I was told that I would get a replacement, which I have not...and my latest communication (days ago) asking if a replacement had been sent yet has not received a reply .
