Product Information

Conquest of the New World is a Civilization type simulation game where you get to play as one of eight different races trying to establish a foothold in the New World. Based loosely on historical data, players can choose to make their colonist either French, Dutch, English, Spanish, Portugese or Native American. Starting with a simple village, the object is to dominate the surrounding country-side and, if possible, declare independance from the mother country. Success can be achieved through diplomacy, economic superiority or warfare. <br><br>Battles are played out on a chess-like grid board and are turned based. Victory is achieved when one side eliminates the other, or, retreats off the map. Choosing what units to create, training, and placement all affect the outcome of battle.

    It is not until you have a problem that you appreciate a great seller. The fed ex driver neglected to put the pick up instructions on the deliver tag like he was supposed to, and it took two days to locate after it supposedly had been delivered. The seller on the other hand called them as soon as I asked for help, then contacted me right away. when it was found it was packed very well. Fantastic service, would buy again!!!!!!!!

    Overall, a VERY GOOD seller! Very responsive and communicates effectively! However, the shipping method chosen (USPS Ground Advantage) is HORRIBLE for deliveries in my area. I forewarned of this, but it was chosen anyway! As a result, it took 10 DAYS TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE! The product was “as described” and it was packed with “GREAT care!” I can only hope they adopt better ways to ship (even if the BUYER has to pay a little more)!

    After more than 20 pre-sales questions and 5 more after the sale I get a negative comment because the package took 10 days to arrive during the week the country was under a cold spell and ALL mail was delayed despite the fact that the buyer had a choice between USPS Ground Advantage and USPS Priority Mail and chose the less expensive of the two options. Isn't EBAY great?
