Swarms of giant insects have overrun the futuristic city of New Detroit in Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. As a member of the elite Earth Defense Force, you must eradicate the creepy crawlies using whatever force is deemed necessary -- even if it means destroying the city itself. Up to three players can work together as a team online as they improve their firepower and defense by purchasing or earning various weapons and armor upgrades over time.<br><br>More than 300 weapons are included in total, ranging from assault rifles and rocket launchers to sniper rifles and grenade launchers. Also included is a six-player survival mode that has you defending yourselves against progressively challenging waves of insects for as long as possible.
