Lawrence Kasdan's 1983 film the Big Chill struck a major chord with the 30+ baby boomers generation. With no new music and no single, the soundtrack took the record business by surprise, with sales swelling to a 4.4 million unit torrent that also swept along over 1 million units of More Songs from the Big Chill. Now this set of pop classics (unforgettable songs by Four Tops, Percy Sledge, Marvin Gaye, the Band, the Beach Boys and others) has been painstakingly digitally remastered.
