The valves are smooth. The tuning slide needs some. Unlike a traditional trombone that screws together, the valve section slides into the bell section and then is tightened with a thumb screw. It allows the bell section to move away from the valve section while playing. The mouthpiece is a bit small and shallow and does not sound good on lower notes. Fixed that using a 12c.

I've seen so many sketchy retailers on here but this ain't one of them. This rules so hard. I can't wait to wear it fr. **note, you definitely need help getting it on. I understand why knights have squires because it's tough to latch everything as you put more on and range of motion is limited. But yeah. Great quality especially for the price. This whips ass. Buy it.
