I have a JD 3035D 35 HP 4WD tractor, and I had to raise the subsoiler and make about 3 passes, each time a little lower to get it through the turf without spinning my wheels. My ground is hard packed. I think I would have had an easier time of it if I had done it after a 2 day rain. But the Titam subsoiler is built like a tank - it worked well. Tip: If you're laying cable or irrigation lines, buy the pipe layer attachment!
