I have other Taos sneakers that I could wear right out of the box. But these have a higher, stiffer heel so there is definitely more time needed for them to break-in and be comfortable. As I have done previously with Taos, I bought a half size bigger than my normal size and the sizing and length is perfect. I am hopeful they will break-in as I mentioned above.
