Bound in 3/4 leather and matching paper covered boards with titles present to the spine and front board. Boards have light shelf-wear present to the extremities. Rear board is detached from the spine. Previous owner's name present to the reverse of the FFEP. Text is clean and free of marks. James Britten (1846-1924) was an English botanist. He was associated with the Department of Botany, British Museum and he was the editor of the Journal of Botany for 45 years.”
