Interesting material like a canvas/woven. I do not have this style in my collection of things. This is a definitely WELL LOVED item. There are stains at the bottom of the bag. I could probably get them out. No unusual smells or tears. The leather will last forever. Nonetheless, this is a unique and hard to find piece. Thanks for the lucky penny!
