- m***p (223)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe new carburetor works great just do the normal adjustments. I had to turn the choke spring so the choke would open quicker. And minor adjustments to low speed mixture screw and idle and cold idle speed. I used a paste sealer for the threads for the distributor vacuum fitting and fuel line fitting. No leaks anywhere. Before I installed carb I filed down the throttle full open stop to get the throttle plate to open fully than lubricated throttle and choke shafts and linkage pivot points.

Shipping was fast and price was fair considering a used 19yr old OEM set from my local salvage yard was $45 + tax. This was $78 + tax and free shipping. Item arrived damaged. Repairing it dded about an hour onto the installation time, but was successful. Notified the seller and they were responsive, courteous and fair about resolving the issue.
