The replacement piece does not have a provision for one of the lower spring retention slots. The upper retention springs are different than the factory ones. Not better but not worse. The upper arc radius of the replacement piece is also a little bit different. The replacement piece does not fair into the factory dash housing as tight as the original but is acceptable for driver quality.
