    I am a fan of Shars products. They are good quality and low-cost, the right combination for a hobbyist, and even some professional work. This set of lathe tooling works very well. Finding inserts is easy and it’s exactly the right size for a 10 inch lathe, like my Logan 1875. I have no reservations about recommending this set of tools. In fact, I will likely buy a second set for running the cutters parallel to the work piece, as the set I just purchased is setup to run perpendicular.
