A lot of GPUs listed for spares/repairs have suffered through multiple poor repair attempts. This card showed no signs of that, the seller is trustworthy. The only sign anyone had been inside at all were the new thermal pads and paste, which is a good sign rather than a bad one. The issue turned out to be a faulty RAM module (common with 30-series cards) and replacing the BGA has made for a great value working 3060. Result!
