Slipcase is lightly worn. Wrappers lightly worn with some light shelf-wear to the extremities present. Plates are chipped and worn with several 1-2'' closed tears present to a few plates. Book is free of ownership marks. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Published in 1902 it contains work of someof the finest natural history artists of the time such as Sherman Denton, Oliver Kemp and J.L Ridgeway and Louis Fuentes. The 12 x 9 3/8" prints are in very good conditions, colors are bright with just some wear to some edges. This portfolio only contains 70 chromolithograph plates of song birds, game birds, ducks, big game, fish and other wildlife.”
