Worked great w/1911 springs once flange bolt removed. 5/16" steel rod slightly bent at point where tapped threads end. Does not interfere with operation. Burr on 5/16" rod that smoothed out after initial threading. Indicates lack of testing of individual unit prior to shipment. "No returns" policy is a negative (but I would still keep it)
