I got this as a present for my son in law, sorry but he’s not getting it, I’m keeping it for myself. Excellent quality and value for the price. Received in first class condition obviously parcelled with extreme care. Poor condition for a brand new item, tool marks visible on several surfaces, and the wood is quite rough in places, obviously made in a hurry. The sand takes 3 mins and 34 seconds to fall from the upper bulb. Not really a functional time for brewing my favourite tea, I was hoping for closer to 5 mins. I am not very happy with it. I’ll gift it to a friend with autistic kids and I’ll be continuing my search for a more accurate sand timer.
