- i***i (62)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseNice to have a high-resolution (1024 counts/rev) encoder on hand, even though I don't yet have a firm project in mind. It's suitable for robotics uses, e.g., to give feedback of actual angle swept out by a stepper motor under load. I'm thinking of equipping an astronomical telescope with "digital setting circles" using this device, though currently I only have one encoder, so I'll need to buy another one.
- i***i (62)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseI needed some miniature speakers for an electronic music device I'm building. Obviously they're not "high fidelity" but they suit my needs perfectly. I was a bit worried about potential damage to the cardboard speaker cones during transit, but they were packed very well and arrived in excellent condition. Good value for money!
- i***i (62)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThese rotary encoders are useful for electronic projects based on Arduinos or other microprocessor modules. They are the same quality as, but much less expensive than, "rotary encoder modules" that have a small circuit board and a few pins suitable for plugging into a solderless breadboard. (That said, they do not have the pull-up resistors that most of those modules contain, but that's easy to add to your circuit if necessary-- which it usually isn't, thanks to uP's internal pull-up option.)
