My console came wrapped in bubble wrap and also surrounded by packing peanuts. It really does still look brand new and I was very happy about that. The controller I received was packaged the same way. There is stick drift on the controller though, I'm not sure if that's from shipping or not testing but either way I'm happy with my purchase and the sellers customer service.
